ZUMBA® is a Latin-inspired dance fitness workout. ZUMBA® integrates some of the basic principles of aerobic, interval, and resistance training to maximise caloric output, cardiovascular benefits, and total body toning. It is a dance fitness class designed for dancers and non-dancers - women & men! It's FUN, DIFFERENT, EASY, & EFFECTIVE!
**All ZUMBA® instructors at Dance-a-licious are qualified ZUMBA® AND group fitness instructors.
WHAT TO EXPECT @ DANCE-A-LICIOUS:
Our Zumba classes are a non-stop party! Our aim is to give you a fun and fantastic workout! These classes are a designed as a cardio fitness class infused with Latin music and dance moves. We have a maximum capacity of approx 20 people so we try to LIMIT OVERCROWDING!
New choreography is introduced and then repeated for 4 weeks.The reason for doing this is based on cognitive reconditioning of our 'maturing brains'. Learning something new (particularly a physical movement which requires co-ordination) requires at least 4-6 repetitions before 'muscle memory' kicks in, and you can stop thinking about the movement, and just move! Beginners welcome.

2. ZUMBA® (with toning option)
This is a ZUMBA® class designed for those who are wanting a toning workout as well as a cardio workout. This class combines ZUMBA® Latin-influenced steps and music, with the option of toning with freeweights ('toning sticks'). This class aims at toning the arms, legs, upper back and abdominals, while maintaining a fun cardiovascular workout. Beginners Welcome.

ZUMBA® is a Latin-inspired dance fitness workout. ZUMBA® integrates some of the basic principles of aerobic, interval, and resistance training to maximise caloric output, cardiovascular benefits, and total body toning.
This women only - 55yrs+ friendly class is a dance fitness class designed for active older adults.
**All ZUMBA® instructors at Dance-a-licious are qualified ZUMBA® AND group fitness instructors.

3. YOGA DANCE with Penny Balafas
Yoga Dance combines Yoga poses with simple step by step original choreography, to music. You can now practice yoga like never before and dance like you've never danced before in a friendly, intimate dance studio environment!
These classes are the result of a creative approach, combining all the body-mind benefits of yoga along with a cardiovascular workout and a love for music and dance. Build confidence in movement, increase your flexibility, strength, balance and co-ordination. This is a flowing yoga class choreographed to international music.

What to wear
ZUMBA® : Runners/sneakers or jazz sneakers (the less grip the better!). Non-restrictive active/street wear or gym gear.
YOGA DANCE: Comfortable gym wear and bare feet. Please bring a towel. Mats are provided at the studio.
