Exercise, why it's important?
Exercise should form an important part of everybody's life. A realistic goal to aim for is 30-60 minutes of moderate intensity exercise 4 times a week. Moderate intensity is defined as activity which raises your heart rate and breaks a sweat, but you should still be able to carry out a conversation.
Activities include:
- Dancing
- Brisk Walking
- Pilates
- Light cycle
- Light swim
Advantages of an exercise routine:
- Increases energy levels
- Burns body fat
- Increases lean muscle
- Reduces stress
- It's fun
- Increases a sense of wellbeing
- Reduces the risk of many serious diseases
